Since the 1970s, Mount Montserrat has become Spain’s best-known UFO hotspot. Monthly “skywatch” gatherings attract believers after reports of metallic craft and glowing orbs hovering near the mountain’s monastery. The phenomenon gained fame thanks to journalist Luis José Grifol, who claimed to regularly witness unidentified lights there. Even skeptics acknowledge frequent unexplained aerial activity over the jagged peaks.
