Case Overview
What happened at Seven Bridges Trail?
Seven Bridges is a wooded ravine trail system in Grant Park that became infamous for the legend of a Weeping Woman, said to be the ghost of a mother who lost her children in the ravine and now wanders the bridges at night calling or crying for them. Visitors claim to hear female sobbing, children’s voices, and footsteps following them between bridges, with shadow figures seen moving ahead or just off the path. Other long-standing reports include apparitions near the final bridge, sudden feelings of being watched, and people becoming disoriented or compelled to turn back, which is why the trail has remained a late-night dare spot for generations of Milwaukee locals.
