Phoenix Lights & Missing Campers – USA
Nearest city: Phoenix, Arizona
On March 13, 1997, thousands of witnesses across Arizona, Nevada, and northern Mexico reported seeing a massive, silent V-shaped formation of lights gliding across the sky — now known as the Phoenix Lights, one of the most widely documented UFO sightings in history. While the U.S. Air Force attributed the lights to military flares from A-10 aircraft during Operation Snowbird, many witnesses; including then-Governor Fife Symington later described the event as “otherworldly”. The following day, four campers — Ryan Stone, Mitch Adams, Glenn Lauder and Jacob Reynolds were reported missing near Estrella Mountain Regional Park, sparking speculation of a UFO abduction. Their case remains unsolved, with no bodies or physical evidence recovered.
