After its closure in 1987, the site gained a reputation for intense paranormal activity, including apparitions, disembodied voices, and violent physical contact. The most active areas include Quaker Hall, where visitors report being scratched or shoved, and the underground tunnels, where investigators have captured EVPs, shadow figures, and growling sounds. Some reports also mention satanic rituals and dark entities believed to have been drawn to the residual trauma.
