The Lake Michigan Triangle, mapped between Ludington (MI), Benton Harbor (MI), and Manitowoc (WI), is linked to shipwrecks, plane crashes, and unexplained phenomena. In 1883, sailors reported mysterious lights hovering over the lake; in 1921, the freighter Rosan disappeared with all 11 crew, and in 1950, Northwest Airlines Flight 2501 vanished with 58 people—wreckage was never recovered. Divers and boaters still describe compass malfunctions and strange underwater formations, keeping the legend alive into the present day.
