Kecksburg UFO Incident (1965) – USA

On December 9, 1965, a fireball streaked across the skies of the eastern United States before crashing into the woods near Kecksburg. Witnesses described a bell-shaped, metallic object partially buried in the ground, roughly the size of a car. Within hours, the U.S. military arrived, cordoned off the area, and allegedly hauled the object away on a flatbed truck. While officials claimed it was a meteor, locals insisted they had seen something far stranger. Often called the “Roswell of the East,” the Kecksburg UFO remains one of America’s most enduring UFO mysteries.
