Though famed for its interstellar thrills, Space Mountain has its own resident ghost known among cast members as “Mr. One-Way.” Riders describe a red-haired man in 1970s clothing who boards beside single guests, then vanishes before the coaster returns to the platform. Staff also report doors that open on their own and cold gusts sweeping the control booth after closing. Believed to be the spirit of a man who died on the ride decades ago, “Mr. One-Way” remains one of Disneyland’s best-known urban legends. Disneyland’s Space Mountain is rumoured to host not one, but two ghosts, “Disco Debbie,” a female figure in glowing white.
