Devil’s Sea / Dragon’s Triangle – Japan
Nearest city: Off Honshu, Tokyo Bay
Often called the Pacific’s Bermuda Triangle, the Devil’s Sea lies south of Tokyo, stretching toward Iwo Jima. Since at least the 1950s, ships and fishing vessels have mysteriously vanished here, including a Japanese research vessel in 1952 with over 30 crew. Locals and sailors describe sudden magnetic anomalies, lights beneath the water, and UFOs in the skies above. Japanese folklore also ties the region to dragons and sea spirits, cementing its reputation as one of the world’s most dangerous paranormal zones.
