This medieval château is famed for the ghost of Lucie, a young servant who was imprisoned and left to die by a jealous noblewoman centuries ago. For generations, locals have claimed to see her pale figure wandering the battlements on summer nights, her presence so well-known that French television once broadcast a live investigation in the 1980s. Today, visitors still speak of cold chills and fleeting glimpses of Lucie’s sorrowful apparition.
