Villa de Vecchi – Italy
Nearest city: Cortenova, Province of Lecco
Built in 1854 for Count Felix de Vecchi, the villa’s legend begins with his wife’s murder and daughter’s disappearance, after which the Count died and the estate fell to ruin. Its notoriety grew as an alleged ritual site for occult circles; claims link followers of Aleister Crowley—the British occult philosopher and founder of Thelema—to ceremonies here. Visitors report phantom piano music, red glows in empty windows, and EVPs/EMF spikes even after a 2002 avalanche partially collapsed the house.
