Modern workers and night guards report seeing robed figures carrying torches along the cliffs, only for the lights to vanish at the valley floor. Others speak of whispered chanting echoing from sealed tomb shafts and a tall shadow that appears near KV62 (Tutankhamun’s tomb) during the quietest hours.
