The remote Kongka La Pass in the disputed Ladakh region has gained a reputation as one of the world’s most mysterious UFO hotspots. Since the early 2000s, locals, trekkers, and even Indian border patrols have reported glowing discs and lights rising from underground, vanishing into the thin Himalayan air. In 2006, Indian Army units stationed nearby allegedly observed silent craft hovering for over 30 minutes, which Chinese forces also claimed to have seen from their side of the border. Satellite images showing strange structures and shadows in the mountains have only deepened speculation that an underground UFO base exists beneath the pass.
