The site gained national attention in 2013 after a group of teenagers entered the villa and one was briefly reported missing, triggering a mass search and fuelling rumours of whispers, shadow figures, and a female apparition inside the building. Visitors frequently claim to hear footsteps on upper floors, unexplained sounds from empty rooms, and the sensation of being watched, particularly near the staircase and main hall.
