During the 1930s and the terror of the Blitz, air-raid wardens documented a “leaping, gaunt figure” that hunted amongst the jagged ruins of bombed-out terraced houses with unnatural agility. Today, the entity is most active within the Victorian Gothic corridors of Toxteth Park Cemetery, manifesting as a seven-foot silhouette with glowing crimson eyes capable of clearing ten-foot walls in a single bound. Modern activity recorded at the site includes 2024 thermal imaging of “heat voids”, human-shaped pockets of absolute cold moving through the Lower Circle.
