Established in the mid-1800s, the Point Nepean Quarantine Station processed thousands of arrivals to Victoria, many of whom died during outbreaks of smallpox, typhus, and Spanish flu. Its bluestone hospital, morgue, and isolation wards remain intact, and guides recount sightings of a grey nurse in uniform, shadowy patients in the infirmary, and unexplained lights in the old cemetery.
