Posada Del Sol – Mexico
Nearest city: Mexico City
Built in the 1940s by businessman Fernando Saldaña Galván, La Posada del Sol was meant to be a luxury hotel and cultural complex, but it was abandoned after financial ruin and the owner’s mysterious suicide on the grounds. Since then, the sprawling ruin has earned a sinister reputation: locals whisper of Satanic rituals, murals with occult imagery, and the ghost of a young girl found dead in the courtyard chapel. Urban explorers report phantom footsteps in the dark corridors, cold drafts in sealed rooms, and eerie chanting at night.
