Locals claim the station and surrounding tracks are haunted by phantom trains, with the sound of whistles and screeching brakes echoing on nights when no trains run. Witnesses have also reported shadowy figures on the platforms, doors opening and closing on their own, and cold spots inside the abandoned depot. The haunting is sometimes linked to accidents on the line, with spectral echoes of passengers who never made it home.
