On August 4, 1892, Andrew and Abby Borden were brutally murdered in their home with a axe, allegedly by daughter Lizzie Borden. The house, now a bed-and-breakfast and museum, is considered one of the most haunted locations in America, with reports of apparitions, EVPs and physical contact from spirits. Paranormal investigators and guests have documented cold spots, disembodied voices and shadow figures, especially in the guest room where Abby was killed and the sitting room where Andrew died.
