One of modern cryptozoology most controversial claims, the “Kandahar Giant” refers to reports by U.S. soldiers in the early 2000s of encountering a giant humanoid with fiery red hair, double rows of teeth, and immense size—said to stand over 12 feet tall. The story, which allegedly describes a battle inside a cave where the creature was killed, spread after a former serviceman recounted it in interviews.
