Hexagon in the Desert- Harold E. Holt facility – Australia

Nearest city: Exmouth, Western Australia

This U.S.–Australian joint base is dominated by a vast hexagonal antenna array in the desert outside Exmouth, earning it the nickname “Hexagon in the Desert.” Officially used for submarine communications, the site has been tied to UFO sightings, strange lights, and conspiracy theories about weather control and alien monitoring. In 2008, it was controversially linked to an emergency landing of a commercial flight, after claims that interference from the base disrupted aircraft systems. Its remoteness, secrecy, and alleged side effects keep it one of Australia’s most mysterious installations.
