Goatman’s Bridge- Old Alton Bridge – USA
Nearest city: Denton County, Texas
Built in 1884, Old Alton Bridge spans Hickory Creek between Denton and Copper Canyon, and is infamous for its connection to occult rituals and a demonic entity known as the Goatman. While some legends link the creature to a lynching victim named Oscar Washburn, local researchers and paranormal investigators increasingly attribute the hauntings to ritual activity in the surrounding woods, including animal sacrifices, summoning ceremonies and alleged attempts to open a portal to Hell. Visitors report glowing red eyes, growling voices, phantom hoofbeats and violent physical contact, especially after knocking three times on the bridge — a ritual said to summon the Goatman. The area is also rumored to be haunted by other spirits including a crying woman and shadow entities, the bridge is said to lie along North American ley lines, intensifying its reputation as a spiritual hotspot.
