Built in 1937, this former courthouse and jail is infamous for its harsh conditions and the many deaths that occurred within its walls. Since its closure in 2008, explorers and paranormal investigators have reported footsteps in empty corridors, the sound of cell doors slamming, and shadowy figures moving between rooms. Disembodied voices—sometimes calling names—are a common occurrence, with some claiming the spirits of former inmates still await trial.
