Belshaw House

Built in the late 1800s by mine owner Mortimer Belshaw, this Victorian-era home overlooks the abandoned silver mining town of Cerro Gordo. Long associated with tales of tragedy and violence from the boomtown days, the house is said to be haunted by restless spirits. Visitors and caretakers have reported lights flickering on in locked rooms, doors opening by themselves, and the lingering spirits of two children said to haunt a closet. A must‑see for ghost hunters exploring one of America’s most atmospheric Wild West ruins.
