Llancaiach Fawr Manor – Wales
Nearest city: Caerphilly
Built around 1530 as a semi-fortified Tudor manor and later the home of Colonel Edward Prichard, Llancaiach Fawr now stands as one of Wales’ most haunted buildings. Visitors report strange noises, flickering lights and shadowy figures in nearly every room, including the ghost of a 19th-century housekeeper known as “Mattie” and the presence of a young boy’s spirit tugging at clothing.
