Case Overview

What happened at Borgvattnets Prästgård?

Built in 1876, the Borgvattnet Vicarage has earned the title of Sweden’s most haunted house. Over the years, priests and visitors reported unexplained phenomena, including rocking chairs moving on their own, shadowy figures, and the sounds of women crying. One of the most famous accounts came from a chaplain in the 1940s, who claimed unseen hands pulled him from his chair. Today the vicarage operates as a guesthouse where brave visitors can spend the night, with many still reporting chilling encounters.
