Founded in 1879 during a silver mining boom, Tombstone quickly became one of the most violent and lawless towns of the American West. Its turbulent history — including the infamous O.K. Corral shootout, brothel murders and mining deaths has left behind a dense network of haunted buildings, ghost sightings and residual trauma.
