Hangzhou Airport UFO Incident – China
Nearest city: Xiaoshan International Airport, Hangzhou

On July 7, 2010, Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport was abruptly shut down after radar operators and pilots detected a bright, structured aerial object hovering near the runway. Flights were diverted for nearly an hour, affecting thousands of passengers, while witnesses on the ground filmed a luminous object changing shape. Chinese authorities confirmed the closure but offered no explanation beyond “unidentified flying object.” The incident remains one of the most disruptive civilian-airport UFO cases on record.
