In September 1977, residents of Petrozavodsk witnessed a giant glowing object hovering over the city, described as a jellyfish-like form emitting beams of light that illuminated streets and buildings. Similar sightings were reported across northwestern Russia and Scandinavia the same night. Some buildings later exhibited unexplained circular holes in windows, sparking scientific concern.
