Staff frequently encounter the spirit of a bearded man in 19th-century work clothes, believed to be a former stable hand who died on the property; he is seen walking through the main bar before disappearing into walls that once formed the original stables. Guests have also reported a woman in a dark skirt moving across the upstairs balcony, accompanied by the scent of old perfume and a sudden drop in temperature. After-hours cleaners describe chairs scraping on their own and glasses moving across polished counters.
