Staff and visitors report hearing whispered conversations and a man’s voice calling “George?” in the library, believed to be the spirit of Edith Vanderbilt, who was known to speak to her husband there after his death. In the swimming pool room, guests describe splashing sounds, laughter, and wet footprints around an empty, waterless basin—phenomena documented on multiple ghost tours.
