Eden Hotel – Argentina

Eden Hotel – Argentina

Nearest city: La Falda, Córdoba Province

Opened in 1898 by German entrepreneurs, Eden Hotel was once the most luxurious resort in South America—hosting European aristocrats, Argentine presidents, and rumored Nazi sympathizers during the 1930s and ’40s. After its decline and eventual closure in 1965, the sprawling complex fell into eerie disrepair, earning a reputation as one of Argentina’s most haunted landmarks. Visitors describe disembodied voices, piano music echoing from the grand salon, and the apparition of a woman in period dress gliding along the balconies. Locals whisper that German officers’ spirits remain trapped in the corridors, and some claim that Adolf Hitler himself once stayed here. Modern ghost hunters have captured unexplained EVPs and cold spots in the west wing, while the restored portions of the hotel now double as a museum and a hub for after-hours paranormal tours.
