Bannack Ghost Town – USA
Nearest city: Dillon, Montana
Once the site of Montana’s first major gold strike in 1862, Bannack thrived briefly before becoming a ghost town — now preserved as a state park. Its most famous spirit is Dorothy, a young girl who drowned in Grasshopper Creek and is said to appear in a blue dress near the old schoolhouse. Paranormal accounts also include ghostly outlaws in the sheriff’s office and shadow figures in the Hotel Meade. With its intact frontier buildings and chilling legends, Bannack is often called one of the most haunted ghost towns in the West.
