Locals describe it as resembling a rhinoceros but with a single long horn and an aggressive nature, capable of killing elephants with one thrust. Reports were collected during the 20th century by explorers like Lucien Blancou and later repeated by cryptozoologists searching for “living dinosaurs” in Central Africa. While no scientific evidence has been found, stories of the Emela-Ntouka remain common among swamp-dwelling communities, often tied to mysterious animal tracks and unexplained deaths of large game.
