The Bellaire House – USA
Nearest city: Bellaire, Ohio
Built in 1847 by coal magnate Jacob Heatherington, the Bellaire House sits atop a cursed coal mine, near Native American burial caves and along a powerful ley line beside the Ohio River — all contributing to its reputation as one of the most haunted homes in America. Paranormal activity includes apparitions, poltergeist attacks, EVPs and reports of demonic entities, especially in the Séance Room, attic and basement. The spirit of Emily Davis, a child-like figure believed by some to be a malevolent mimic, is frequently seen in the attic. The house is said to contain 17 active portals, opened by Edwin Heatherington during occult experiments to contact his deceased sister Lyde.
